Meet Your Spirit Guides

Learn the classic shamanic method of journeying to the spirit world by listening to a drum beat to meet your spirit teacher and power animal. Learn how to communicate with your guides and receive wisdom for your personal life and to help others. No experience necessary! Adults and teens welcome. Please bring a notebook, scarf to cover your eyes while journeying and a drum or rattle if you have one. Rattles will be provided.

Path of the Powerful Heart: Peruvian Shaman’s Mesa

Taught by Leontine Hartzell and Marcia Goodman-Blair.
Three weekends: January 24 &25, March 21 & 22 and May 2 & 3, 2009.

This program meets at the Eye of the Eagle Center, 122 Chestnut St., Andover, MA, 01810.
Meets from 9:30-5 on Sat. and 9:30-4 on Sunday. It is non-residential, but a list of local motels will be provided upon request. One Saturday we will stay late for supper and a fire ceremony.

This class leads us through ancient and beautiful Peruvian Andean shamanic practices, teachings and initiation rites to connect to the Earth (Pachamama),to powerful helping spirits and to our own inner power . We will learn how to adapt these practices to modern North American life so that we may create positive change individually and globally. We will participate in ceremonies and rites of passage while building a personal shaman’s mesa or sacred medicine bundle. The mesa and its sacred stones provide a powerful platform for deep healing and empowerment work, both personally and for others.

You will learn to work with the mesa and your helping spirits for deep personal healing work and energizing practices. You will also learn how to work with others and nature.

Leontine and Marcia have each studied with a number of Peruvian shamans, both in the United States and in Peru, and are initiated into the practices and traditions of the high Andean shamanic culture of the Quero. They bring a unique and insightful perspective to the work based on their many years as wisdom keepers, healers, shamanic practitioners, psychics, and teachers.

Please bring a drum or rattle if you have one, a notebook and pen, a square cloth or scarf about the size of a bandana, three rocks no bigger than the palm of your hand , a small candle, and a bag lunch.

Rainbow Healing: Transforming with Sound and Light

Learn a powerful method that heals and balances the chakras and light body with sound, light and crystals that has been channeled through Leontine by her guiding spirits. This method employs the use of a Tibetan bell and 8 quartz crystal points to clear and empower the chakras with light to bring them into balance and powerful health. This method also activates the DNA on a cellular level to increase one’s capacity for carrying Divine Light. The highest level of healing for the physical, mental and spiritual body is done with the vibrations of light and sound. Healing with Plant Spirits

Medicine healers from many cultures have invoked the spirits of herbs and plants for healing physical, emotional and spiritual problems. Indigenous herbalists always invoked the spirit of the herbs as well as used the physical substance of the herb for healing. It is also possible to obtain healing from using only the spirits of herbs and plants.

In this workshop you will be introduced to several methods to work with the spirits of plants to help in healing others and yourself. This is a powerful method of energy healing that does not require any physical presence of the plant or any plant ingestion. Using guided imagery you will be introduced to two powerful plant spirit allies who will be the liaisons between you and other helping plant spirits. You will learn simple dowsing diagnostic techniques to determine chakra and energetic imbalances in a client. You will then learn how to work in partnership with plant spirits to call in their healing energies to correct imbalances and strengthen and revitalize a person’s body and energy.

No shamanic or herbal medicine experience is required for this class. Our plant spirit friends of the green world want to make their healing properties available to as many people as possible!

Leontine has been practicing healing with plant spirits for 10 years and has many clients who have received deep healings from plant spirits. She has been taught by her spirit guides, by indigenous shamans in North and South America, is a graduate of Rosemary Gladstar’s Herbal Apprenticeship program and Eliot Cowan’s Plant Spirit Medicine Training.

Star Connection and Activation Workshop and Ceremony

We all originally came from different star systems. In this process you will be able to hold a higher vibration of purity and love so that you can achieve your full potential as the Being of Light that you were born to be.
The workshop will consist of a series of guided meditations and visualizations so that you can clear any karmic and energetic hindrances that are impeding you, learn what your original star home is and connect with the wisdom guides from your star and discover your soul purpose for this lifetime. The workshop will conclude with a powerful ceremony of connection with high vibration star energy and an activation of your original 12 and 24 strand DNA.
